New every morning

Why do we worry about things? Why do we worry about the future?
Here is what the Lord tells us about that.

Matthew 6:34 says, "Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Lamentations 3:22-23 says, "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

In God's love and provision for his people, the amount of trouble that is planned for you each day is in perfect correspondence to the mercies that will keep you from those troubles. It is perfectly planned.
Therefore, don't carry over into any day troubles that don't belong there.
There will be trouble today. But the Lord's mercies which were new this morning are enough to cover your troubles.
His mercies are new every morning! They are new! They are not for yesterday and not for tomorrow. Trust that those mercies will be there tomorrow when you get there. Trust that promise.
And so on and so on. Day by day.
